Some local cops are wanting to order some of PO 97S carbines, I am trying to talk them out of it, but I don't know anything about them.   Does anyone have any info on them?

I believe PO went out of business - which if true means that their legendary customer service will no longer be available to fix their legendary number of problems.

Pro. Ord is/was a crapshoot.  Some guns were fine out of the box and never had problems.  Some went back to the factory 3 or 4 times and still didn't work right.

They are very light, though.

PO is in the middle of bankruptcy, and I certainly could not recommend any of their guns for duty use!
