I'm looking to get a 20" barrel as light as possible without giving up strength. How much can the govt profile take before you start loosing accuracy, getting barrel whip, ect., compared to the fluted hbar? I would like to know which one most of you choose and why?

Thanks

Govt profile will give you all the stiffness you need if you are using a chrome lined barrel (not match barel) and it weighs less.  Id flute a match barrel though.  It would be heavier but it would have less of a chance of the harmonics being messed up and ruining your sub .5 MOA accuracy.
