What is the difference between the new and old telescoping Pre Ban AR15 buttstocks? The stocks look different. The new ones have a different design look.

Is there a weight difference?

I heard some aluminum ones make noises when you shoot? Which ones should I avoid buying?

What is a good brand to buy? Rock River Arms or Bushmaster?

I have 1 of ALL Coll.Stocks,the Bushmaster,6 position is my favorite..The Colt Aluminum 2 pos does not make noise,and by checking w/my lowers,the Alum.Colt is Shorter,by about 1/4 to 1/2",the DPMS collasps stock is nice,and is also a shorty,shorter than my Bushmaster..E,ail me for more specifics.
