I've got a BM Dissipator with a fluted heavy barrel. Excellent work. I could, would, and do reccomend it all day long. It also makes the barrel more rigid and increase surface area to aid in cooling.

FWIW, fluting looks really cool and reduces weight.

I have a 16" bushmaster fluted barrel and love it. I think it's the best compromise between a rigid barrel for accuracy and weight.
Ditto on looks cool too. Definitely worth it. |

I agree it looks sweet. For 50 bucks, that's a deal when it comes to AR's! I'm guessing they do it to the heavy barrel model right? Is Bushmasters process top notch? Thanks, -Steve |
