What is the difference between M4 style handguards vs. normal carbine handguards? I can't seem to find a picture of them anywhere.

The M4 style handguards are a bit "fatter" vertically and the real ones have a double heatshield, whereas the standard CAR handguards are narrow and have a single aluminum heat shield, or none at all.
