You can't put a telescoping stock on a post-ban receiver unless you delete one of the other 'evil features' such as the removable magazine or pistol grip. You can put one of the fake telescoping stocks on your post ban, but it is permanently pinned in the extended position. IMHO, you're better off with a regular fixed stock.

Removable Magazine is not an "evil feature". It is a defining feature.
This means that if you were to remove the Pistol Grip, you could have the tele-stock, but no other "evil features". But if the magazine is non-removable, then you can have all the "evil features" you wish. Rifle: Defining Features -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 921(a)(30)(B): 1. semiautomatic rifle; and 2. ability to accept a detachable magazine Evil Features -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 921(a)(30)(B)(i) - 921(a)(30)(B)(v) 1. a folding or telescoping stock; 2. a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon; 3. a bayonet mount; 4. a flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor; and 5. a grenade launcher. Pistol: Defining Features -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 921(a)(30)(C): 1. semiautomatic pistol; and 2. ability to accept a detachable magazine Evil Features -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 921(a)(30)(C)(i) - 921(a)(30)(C)(v): 1. an ammunition magazine that attaches to the pistol outside of the pistol grip; 2. a threaded barrel capable of accepting a barrel extender, flash suppressor, forward handgrip, or silencer; 3. a shroud that is attached to, or partially or completely encircles, the barrel and that permits the shooter to hold the firearm with the nontrigger hand without being burned; 4. a manufactured weight of 50 ounces or more when the pistol is unloaded; and 5. a semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm. Shotgun: Defining Features -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 921(a)(30)(D):
Evil Features -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 921(a)(30)(D)(i) - 921(a)(30)(D)(iv): 1. a folding or telescoping stock; 2. a pistol grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon; 3. a fixed magazine capacity in excess of 5 rounds; and 4. an ability to accept a detachable magazine. Named Guns -- 18 USC Sec. 921(a)(30)(A)(i) - 921(a)(30)(A)(viii): 1. Norinco, Mitchell, and Poly Technologies Avtomat Kalashnikovs (all models); 2. Action Arms Israeli Military Industries UZI and Galil; 3. Beretta Ar70 (SC-70); 4. Colt AR-15; 5. Fabrique National FN/FAL, FN/LAR, and FNC; 6. SWD M-10, M-11, M-11/9, and M-12; 7. Steyr AUG; and 8. INTRATEC TEC-9, TEC-DC9 and TEC-22. DD Shotguns -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 921(a)(30)(A)(ix): 1. Revolving Cylinder Shotguns, such as (or similar to) the Street Sweeper and Striker 12.

Pre-Ban Exemption -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 922(v)(2):
"...shall not apply to the possession or transfer of any semiautomatic assault weapon otherwise lawfully possessed under Federal law on the date of the enactment of this subsection." Configuration Exemptions -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 922(v)(3)(A) - 922(v)(3)(D): "...shall not apply to -" 1. any of the firearms, or replicas or duplicates of the firearms, specified in Appendix A to this section, as such firearms were manufactured on October 1, 1993; 2. any firearm that is manually operated by bolt, pump, lever, or slide action; 3. any firearm that has been rendered permanently inoperable; 4. any firearm that is an antique firearm; 5. any semiautomatic rifle that cannot accept a detachable magazine that holds more than 5 rounds of ammunition; or 6. any semiautomatic shotgun that cannot hold more than 5 rounds of ammunition in a fixed or detachable magazine. Government Exemptions -- 18 USC 44 Sec. 922(v)(4)(A) - 922(v)(4)(D): "...shall not apply to - 1. the manufacture for, transfer to, or possession by the United States or a department or agency of the United States or a State or a department, agency, or political subdivision of a State, or a transfer to or possession by a law enforcement officer employed by such an entity for purposes of law enforcement (whether on or off duty); 2. the transfer to a licensee under title I of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 for purposes of establishing and maintaining an on-site physical protection system and security organization required by Federal law, or possession by an employee or contractor of such licensee on-site for such purposes or off-site for purposes of licensee-authorized training or transportation of nuclear materials; 3. the possession, by an individual who is retired from service with a law enforcement agency and is not otherwise prohibited from receiving a firearm, of a semiautomatic assault weapon transferred to the individual by the agency upon such retirement; or 4. the manufacture, transfer, or possession of a semiautomatic assault weapon by a licensed manufacturer or licensed importer for the purposes of testing or experimentation authorized by the Secretary. |

In plain English, you can have any evil features you wish as long as you omit 1 defining feature...
On a rifle that means that if you make the magazine non-detachable or make it no longer semi-auto...you can have all the evil features you wish. You can have the Collapsing Stock and detachable magazine as long as you omit the Pistol Grip...
