Man, I know where that stand is, and I have hunted the powerlines a few miles away with my MWS. That is just crazy.

If I had known they would be as good as they are I would have bought several sets...My opinion, Geissele BUIS are probably second only to KAC & LMT BUIS. |

Here’s an updated photo. Just picked up an Aimpoint PRO. I need a sling and a light. After that, should be good to go. Any recommendations? Would like a light/mount. Plus a two point sling.

I think I’ve posted this before but..
My go to for anything and everything. Geissele SSP Colt 6933 barrel Toolcraft BCG Everything else is self explanatory. Easily my most light and handy rifle I own. Still working out a solution for getting the magnifier up a bit as it is offset from the optic due to being a 30mm tube. Works fine though. |

Thank you! I was able to get 2 sets in Black (which is the color I needed) never would have known to check in the Blem section without your tip. I'm actually surprised they were in the Blem section. HOW DID YOURS LOOK, ANY NOTICEABLE BLEMS? Either way, I've never bought any Geissele Blem that wasn't perfect with the exception of the "Geissele Gray RE's". Those were in perfect condition, but they were not Grey. Actually, the only items I have ever bought from Geissele that was not perfect were the gray Buffer Tubes. I had to order 3 to get 1 that was gray. |

Unless you live in the mid-west corn fields, it takes a lot of time and knowledge to get to shoot deer regularly. I live in Maine, very hard hunting (for big Bucks at least). Took me years to figure it out since I didn't hunt with My Father. I have always wanted to hunt with a Guide in Illinois or Ohio. Big Racks, little effort! |

Originally Posted By M-4matus: Nice buck! Guns sick too...Why would you need, or want to remove the Aimpoint? View Quote Thank you sir! I have the rifle set up for SHTF at the moment with as many capabilities as I can fit on it. I hope to add a FP peq15 to it one day. For hunting though, I like to keep it simple with a sling and scope. At 1.5 on the low end the FOV is not great, but I shouldn't have any trouble finding my target without the Aimpoint. I'm setting up my blind for a measly 40-75 yard shot. Honestly, I'd be fine using irons, but I want to gain some practical experience behind the scope as this upper is one of my go-to recces. |
