Looks like regional SWAT. HRT probably didn’t arrive until after nightfall

This appears to be HRT as noted by the quad tubes

Note the rail profile appears thinner than the MK4 and the suppressor has a different profile than a SF can.

I’m interested to see what the internet sleuths come up with for gear.

ETA: I spy a Unity Fast Mount.

It runs and runs good I do not have the means to measure the gas port on the new production 6933 barrel but it runs 5.56 ammunition perfectly with a Colt H buffer and spring. Just as smooth as the 2011 production 6933 barrel that was on it before.

...Finished this up last year and I don't think I've ever posted pics. Kind of got interested in this particular clone thread because I like the green.  Lots of great builds out there!  I put a government CH on it initially but didn't like the way it hit the rear sight, so I replaced it with a Raptor. One of my favorite builds. Not 100% accurate I realize. I really like the Romeo 4 even though technically it's not correct with the green handguard.

Anybody know if the FBI are the ones who asked for the brass inserts the G rails are shipping with now?

Could be a Nordic NC-15. HRT acquired some for evaluation based on USMS SOG use.

Isn't the HK416 the primary SBR now for the HRT?

Swat. Looks like 9" Troy rail, 11.5" barrel, surefire 4 prong (maybe it's a war comp), magpul mbus pro's, aimpoint T2 on a Larue mount and an inforce light. Can't really tell if it's a T2 or sig Romeo, though it looks more like a T2 to me.Attachment Attached File

That suppressor kinda looks like a sig srd suppressor. Hard to tell 100% though.

Aren't SWAT just police officers with more specialized training? All SWAT teams I've seen still have police patches for their particular department.

It definitely is a centurion. I should've known it with those handguard covers. The holes on the side were reminiscent of the Troy. The video I got it from says they are SWAT. The thread says fbi, hrt, swat so I thought it would fit. I can take it down if it doesn't fit the thread.

All the HRT photos I’ve seen they’re wearing patches that say “FBI” not “Police”. It depends entirely on the unit, but I’ve never seen HRT with a Police patch.

The reg in “Reg. SWAT” might be a little confusing. In this case it refers to FBI regional SWAT, not regular SWAT. FBI regional SWAT are the dudes with ODG Fed Mk4s.

Still, interesting pics. Might as well leave them up.

Eta- I wasn’t sure if I’d like the Troy alpha rail, due to negative experiences I’ve read about, but I must say it’s becoming a favorite. It locks up way tighter than I thought it would. I’ll likely have to put some loctite on the mounting screws to prevent them from backing out under recoil. I originally put an accessory rail at 6 o’clock for an afg or vfg, but it’s such a comfortable rail as is, that I may not use a vfg or afg.

Thanks im not like most guys i dont chop the fsb down as much. I guess i like some material left there, you know for pressure and heat reasons. I use a home made gauge to make sure i got enough room between the handguard and the gas block. Bringing life to these colt commando police trade ins i came across, plan on building about 4 to 8 more in the next few weeks. Depending on how mich i can get done in my spare time.

The slr dimple jig is the best 30 bucks ive spent yet on tools besides lots of punches lol. Takes all the thinking out of doing a simple job that can become a nightmare or turn out like total shit like i see alot of guys doing with taper pin slots and dimpled gas blocks. I wont do some horrid job like that, i just cant get myself to do a shabby job like that.

I used this 3/4 bolt that seemed to be perfect for .750 and it made marking them up very nice without having them moving all over

Really hard to show the spaces

I dont only have fbi hrt builds going on the table

Not sure if anyone else has done this but gen 1 rail on the bottom gen 2 on top

Not sure if anyone knows but geissele has stopped the brass inserts on the rear of the mk4 federals. Naturally

So is it correct to use a Romeo 4M with a black rail and govt profile barrel?  I am guessing that is a regional type gun?

by the looks of it, the Sig Romeo 4 or Aimpoint are G2G on regional guns with a black rail and govt barrel

First clone build… I’m thrilled with it. Not wearing a T2, but it’s what I have around. Part of me wants to just stare at it, and the other part wants to shoot the sh** out of it.

Parts list:
All Colt upper assembly including M4 upper receiver, 11.5” barrel, gas tube, shaved FSB, BCG, and charging handle
Virgin Colt M4 Carbine lower with Hogue storage grip, ODG SBA4, and Sprinco blue/Colt H2 buffer
Geissele Mk4 Federal rail with ODG AFG and Ergo grips/ladders
YHM QD FH mount with blast deflector
Troy folding battle sights
Trijicon MRO Patrol on Reptilia lower 1/3 mount
Inforce WML
