I thought I heard a while back that an Olympic Arms serial number that ended with a K indicated the lower was assembled from parts or was sold as a lower only. Can anyone confirm this?
I tried to do some searching on the web and archives but couldn't turn up any info.

Disregard any further. I was just informed it was not an Olympic but DPMS. I have confirmed that it was not sold as a complete firearm.

Correct. All DPMS lower receivers that were sold individually had the K at the end of the serial number. I have a couple like that.
