Some interesting new models. They have a few "stripped" rifles that come w/ no furniture or trigger guard. Coming out with a 300BLK also. (AR6821) Looks like they dropped the SOCOM for a Magpul model with a Troy rail.(LE6920 MP-R)

Still no middy.

I can dig this.

If they sell for aorund $600 I may have to get one. Most people have furniture, sights, and a trigger guard in their parts bin to finish it off.

I noticed that the Socom model is not listed in their 2015 price list.  However, it is still listed on their website.  Perhaps it is indeed discontinued?

So Colt doesn't have a heavier barreled AR in the 6920 lineup anymore?  Wonder what this will do to the used Socom market as many desire the M4A1 rollmark, heavier barrel, and other nicknacks .

Ive been waiting on my local Cabelas to stock a colt since they opened, (mid sept). Ive had gift cards ive needed to use up so i have been checking in with them regularly. They do not special order as of yet being so new. All of the staff have been saying for months that Colt is going through HEAVY FINACIAL/ BANKRUPTCY issues. And that it is very hard to get product. Have you guys heard any of this? I ended up with an 11 hundred dollar POF instead...

Cost on the stripped rifles are $610. Pretty cool.

I was kinda hoping to see something with 14.5" barrels, like their military contract rifles. If all the parts were the exact ones used and tested the way they do their contract rifles, I'd be stoked on them. Extended 16" barrel, not so much.

It was cool they have an AR15A4, but all the A4's I've ever used were FN. So I won't buy a Colt one to try and recreate the M16A4.

Wow I can actually pick up a Colt and not feel like I'm getting raped on the price. Those OEM ones are gonna be big sellers, especially the low profile gas block version.

And get the sights you want. I am not a fan of the MBUS, I would prefer a fixed rear sight like the Daniel Defense.

Too bad they still have M4 cut, carbine gas barrels.

Agreed. I would rather have a LW middy which is what I built with a BCM upper.

Looks like their "no furniture" models are $793. They are going to have to do better than that. The competition out there is rough now days.

Is that cost direct from Colt?  Because if so, there is only 30% markup between cost and MSRP... I wouldn't think we would see a street price below $700.

Their .308 carbine looks like it uses a mid length gas system.

I'd gladly buy an OEM 1 if it's $600 as previously mentioned. I have a nice set of stock Colt furniture here waiting for it. And a trigger guard, too.

I'm leaning toward the regular, I think.
