I have two carbine uppers. considering going to a mid length. Not quite sure which one of these uppers to keep. First off is a Sig M400 upper, the other is a M&P sport with the 1 in 9 twist melonite barrel. And I switched out the slick side upper for an Anderson upper with forward assist and dust cover. This upper is new, never fired and the SIG has about 20 rounds thru it. Selling one to help with funds. Which should I keep and why?

I don't think you'd get much for either one. Now is not a very good time to be a seller.

Agree

Keep both, shoot more and wait.

Sell the M&P but don't expect much for it.

1/9 is not very popular and with the flood of cheap uppers it will be hard to move unless priced right.

Might be better to hold until things smooth out with the parts surplus.

Keep both uppers and simply buy another lower for the lonely upper, BAM, new rifle.

Thank me later

And going this route is cheaper!

The next progressive step is just to buy another barrel and gas tube, and re-barrel the modified S&W upper.  If you happen to have the slick side, time to rebuild it!  This would soon lead to having 3 guns.
