I tried searching for the answer but to keep from wasting any more time i'll post the question here. I have a 2002 era M15 mid-length and was curious if the components in the rifle are cast or forged? Thanks in advance!

I think a little more info would help. Which components do you want to know about? They quit casting receivers in the 90s as far as I know. The trigger and hammer are probably cast and the disconnector is stamped.

This….. Cast receivers are few and far between now days and if you look at the lower sometimes you can see the casting marks on the receiver.

You can email Armalite the serial and they can tell you for sure.
