Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - POF ring height selection

I hope someone here can give me a pointer. I have a POF 308 with the tac rail that allows for a larger objective optic. I am mounting a 56mm obj 34mm tube scope. Do I need 1.125" or 1.25". I know it's a small difference but still want the lowest possible mounting.
Any clues out there?
