very vague question, but I'll play. 18" you get some added velocity for not very much weight. 16" you get a wider range of profile options and manufacturer options to get exactly what you want, also it handles a little bit better. But besides that, if you shoot past 200" a lot you might want the added 2", it doesn't help a whole lot but it still does help.
