Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - MK18 RISII Rail on 12.5" Kino?

I was thinking of building another 12.5" upper receiver, this one with the Kino configuration barrel.  I would like to use the Daniel Defense MK18 RISII rail, which is 9.5" in length.

Is the front sight base on the Kino far enough forward to allow that rail to fit?  Most other rails used on the Kino config. seem to be listed as being 9".  

Thanks for any help!
