Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - When going from a A2 stock to a A1 stock I skip the spacer correct?

Hello,

I rounded up a A1 stock to replace my A2 stock on my SPR'ish rifle.  I skip the spacer correct?  My A2 was painted and I will be painting the A1 as well.  Should I fill in the hole where the sling mount before painting or leave a hole?

As far as filling the hole, that is totally your call. For the spacer, yes, you are correct. Leave the spacer out when going to the A1 stock.

Needs a shorter screw too.

Don't forget to use the right screw. The A1 is shorter.
