Walmart in Colorado carry them but near me you only get one if you happen to be there after one shows up. I have asked two different stores if I could order an AR but no joy. Price just under $1100 USD.
Check Walmart online and the local availability option to see if that works for you. No waiting list locally...first come, first served (early bird gets the AR). |

Unfortunately, at this time finding a "reasonable" priced 6920 is going to be a matter of stumbling across one at a Walmart. To my knowledge, they are the only seller that isn't raising prices based on the demand that has been recently created. Good Luck in your search...

Check your local walmart. I know someone who stopped in and asked about ARs and was told they just got 3 in. They come in every few days in small quantities so check back or call frequently. He ended up getting a colt 6920 for $1100 yesterday. Dumb luck maybe, cause the person after him bought the other 2 rifles.

try a local Bass Pro. Their price is just under $1200, and they should be able to order one for you. dont let the guys at the gun counter tell you no, ask for the hunting MGR...

I would also like to purchase a Colt 6920 and I am driving myself crazy trying to figure out
if there is a place to order one for a reasonable price or not. We have Wal-Mart and Academy in our area, I would probably have to camp out all day in Wal-Mart's sporting goods dept in order to be there when a shipment comes in. I will see what Bass Pro Shop says about ordering one, maybe that will work. I am in the Houston, Texas area, if anyone knows where I could order or buy a Colt 6920 at a reasonable price feel free to PM me or answer in this thread, thanks! |

I know you guys want an AR15 colt. Have you considered a custom build from Daniel Defense? They are one of the few companies that are taking online orders and they have a 1-2 week turnaround. Their parts are all manufactured in their shop, its US made, and their isn't a raise in price. You will be paying MSRP.

Checked walmart this morning and they were cleaned out. I guess I will keep checking there and if I don't find anything I will just wait out the storm.
