Ok, Adco. They were who I was thinking about. What do they charge for that service? I can't seem to find it on their site.

I've had good results with ADCO's work, and I believe Rainier does good work as well.

They told me you have to cut the old brake off and rethread, which would make the rifle illegal due to length, so they won't touch it. I could've sworn you could cut the weld off and pull the pin out and use the old threading. Am I wrong and this little swap isn't possible? ETA: Upper is a 14.5" (or .7", can't remember) BCM light weight middy with the BC 1.5 perma-pinned. |
