Why Paint it when you could just simply wrap it
As a side note DPMS has a two painted guns one white the other tall grass |

Black Rifle in snow doesn't blend in well, even with FDE parts. |

But it is beneficial if you do a lot of hunting in the winter where it does snow. Also AR-15's are guys equivalent to girls purses and makeup so we have every option available plus color. I know lots of pics exist of rifle in general other than AR platform if you are looking for a pattern. |

I've hunted in snow a lot.... I've never painted a rifle white, but I certainly have considered the idea a time or two. I've opted for a white bed sheet sewn into a sleeve and highlighted it with some tan and black spray paint. It also serves to keep the rifle clean and dry while in the elements. Not a perfect solution, but I like it better than the idea of rattle canning a damn nice rifle.
