OK I decided between the BCM and the Spikes.... I purchased the Spikes M4LE. The reason I did this is not because I dont like BCM but just because I dont own a spikes yet. Price seemed excellent for what I was getting. the BCM wouldve been 150 more to my door over the spikes. The only question is that it says it comes with a Spikes ST-T2 buffer. Is this a standered Buffer or a heavier buffer? and why would they include this with an upper when no one else does? Sorry for the dumb question its my first Spiked and kinda wondering.  I am really hoping this upepr is all I want and more. There prices are right on point for what they offer.

The ST-T2 is Spikes equivalent to a H2 buffer IIRC

Because the H2 will slow down the bolt and make the gun's recoil a little lighter, I run a H or H2 in all my AR's

ST-T2 is between an H and H2 buffer.  I've measured mine at 4.1 oz using a postal scale at work.  I would bet that they have matched the buffer weight to the gas port diameter they use on their uppers.  A heavier buffer will increase dwell time and slow down the cyclic rate of the rifle.

Standard Carbine buffer = 3 oz total, reciprocal weight = 1.9 oz
H1 = 3.7 oz total, reciprocal weight = 2.8 oz.
H2 = 4.6 oz total, reciprocal weight = 3.5 oz.

The reciprocal weight acts like a dead blow hammer and reduces 'bolt bounce' when the BCG is slamming forward to close.

Vuurwapen blog has some great high speed video showing the effects of different buffers.
