don't bust my chops too bad over this.

I just want to know exactly what variant this is.

I built a 20" gov't profile flat top upper with fixed front site and a standard lower with A2 butt stock

is it a A2 or what I have heard is an A4 clone?  Mine does not have rails like the standard M16 A4 would have.

It is not an A2. An A2 has a fixed carry handle, and not a flat top.

I knew it. I built a bastard.

maybe a little bit of a bastard ––- any of us with more than a handful of these things probably have a couple of mutts ––––  but i actually thought that was an issue configuration  ––- the A3 maybe?    Sorry i don't know for sure

Looks nice though –– hope it shoots well

A4, the KAC rail system isn't a requirement to be an A4.

the A3 maybe?
The A3 looks just like the A2, but with full auto rather than burst.
