Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - AR-15 Upper

I just bought an ar-15 but I can not find out what company made it. The only forge marks on it is a keyhole on the side and M4 stamped above the gas tube. I was wondering if anyone could help me? Also it does not have a front sight post.

The keyhole means its a Cerro Forge upper

The keyhole just denotes that Cerro Forge made the raw forging. It does not, however, tell you anything about the company that machined & finished the upper into the end product which I presume is the info that the OP wants to know.
