I installed a nickel boron F/A bcg in my 16" car with a mid length gas system. I have not fired it yet because I do not know if I have to use a heavy buffer. Can anyone give me some knowledge on this?

You can certainly use a carbine buffer in a 16" middie, but I prefer to use an H buffer.

What type of ammo do you typically shoot?
