That's a good deal, but I'd recommend you check out CDNN (cdnnsports.com) as well. They're selling M&P15 ORC's for $600 after rebates...

NO... you'll need $100+ for sights. after you factor that in you can get a Spikes for $799. lots of threads around here why Spikes is the better rifle... and it comes ready to shoot. |

Do they happen to have them in 5.45? I've been toying with the idea of buying or building a 5.45 cal AR, but can't understand why a S&W upper in that caliber costs as much as a complete rifle in 5.56.

What about at $600 at the other place? Is actually rather not have a fixed front sight so the s&w ORCs would save me some $$ there. |

Yeah, I can't tell you the last time I saw any sort of "deal" at gander. I'd say you can find a better price else where.
