I know next to nothing about retro ARs, but I think that is 607. Its basically an old-school Dissy.

The barrel hasn't been cut down, they said that's how it came. It also has triangular hand guards and no forward assist. Any ideas on the model? it's doubtful it has a 16" barrel. and it won't be a Colt unless it's been cut down or maybe i missed that model. maybe a Bushmaster Dissipator. without pics he's def. full of it. |

that picture looks about right, except it now has a m4 stock on it. I'll have to get some photos of it next time we go shoot.

the 605 has a 15" barrel, Colt never made one like that with a 16" barrel.

not sure of the exact barrel length, that was just a guess from looking at it the other night when i helped him clean it. Hopefully going shooting with him on tues again, i'll try and remember to bring my camera.

thats a pretty rare find indeed. i've only seen pictures of colt dissipators, and they were old pictures at that..
