I got this upper the other day and I can't figure what brand BCG this is. I know it's not chrome, so what brand BCG is it? It appears to have a satin nickle type finish. Beats me what brand it is.

Thanks.

No markings. The upper is a new LMT upper. It's a rebuilt gun. I don't know if LMT sells bcg's like this or not. M16 carrier. Cam pin has the same finish as the rest of the parts. Firing pin not steel, possibly titanium.

It could be a non-marked bolt and carrier that someone had plated.

Came from gunsmith shop. That's a possibility.

The coating looks similar but Spikes marks their BCGs. I think it was 87GN that had a posting on here or his blog about coating parts in NiB at home. It was a fairly simple process and something a gun shop could've easily done to a standard BCG.

Exactly where do I look for markings? On the Bolt or Carrier?
Is it only 1-2 letters or full name?

I didn't notice any markings when I took the pictures.

just tell us if it has markings on it (anywhere) and what they are if any. if it has none, then it's anyone's guess who made it.

Ok, just took it apart. Everything looks new, but no markings anywhere. I had the extractor apart, no o ring, just the blue insert.

The gun runs great, just curious what BCG I have.

Looks like a FailZero carrier assembly. One of their earlier ones with weaker staking (hard to tell from the photo) and blue insert spring.

that's all that matters my friend. if you must have piece of mind, swap the bolt with a BCM. i wouldn't touch it unless you have issues.
