Hello everyone long time lurker here and finally Picked up my Stag last monday and also got the CAA pistol grip as my 1st mod.

Nice rifle. I have one myself that I keep in my truck bag for emergencies/disasters response. I could live without the CAA accessories, but if you like it, that is ok.
I like the Magpul grips better myself. Make sure you check staking on the castle nut and the carrier key. A few minutes with a punch and hammer might save you some grief in the future.

If you decide to get rid of the 40 LP sight let me know. I have a regular 40 but I like the 40 LP with the notch in the top.

Good looking staking from Stag.  Must be something recent in that my Stag staking doesn't look anything like that, and I bought my Stag about 4 months ago, but then I don't know how long my Stag had been sitting on my local dealer's shelf.  The staking on mine looks like they used a cold chisel and simply smacked it across the entire top of each key screw and the carrier.  Certainly not milspec nor very secure.

yes i have 500 rounds coming and just picked up 5 preban mag too, but i havent clean and lube my AR yet i also ordered Otis cleaning kit but wont have it till prob friday so ill be in the hunt for lube tomorrow locally.

I tried to adjust my stock to get it shorter and  pinned it since its to long for my taste anyway after finally got the screwwout i discovered that its the shortest i can go:( ........well i guess i have to buy a new shorter buffer tube and im interested on the Magpul MOE.

I have a STAG 2T and I love mine.  It has thousands of rounds through it and a quiet a few carbine/combat training courses.....it has been flawless.

So i recieved my Magpul XTM railcover and Magpul ranger plates;) today... Holy F#@%$#$ crap that ranger plate is a PITA to put on!!! is there any write up to easily install it? still waiting  for my Cproducts Spring and anti tilt followers.
