Greetings,

I have a Bushmaster 16" A3 carbine w/ A2 stock.  I'd like to change the stock to the new Magpul ACS stock.  I'd have to change out the buffer tube to a carbine length.  I understand Bushmaster uses commercial buffer tubes instead of milspec and the Magpul stock only fits the milspec tube.  Can I install a milspec tube on the Bushmaster to accommodate the Magpul ACS stock?  Does the commercial tube use a different threading?

Just upgrade your tube.

Both tubes are threaded the same. The mill spec tube will just get a better bite!

Thanks.  That's what I figured, but wanted to make sure.
