Cmmg is half the money and comes with the bolt carrier group. Adams arms no bolt carrier group twice the money.

Sorry guys, but the CMMG is cheaper because of the quality of metal used, and where its used. Like an Aluminum gas block? Have you also seen the quality of that carrier they send with? We all talk about quality on this site and I agree, but we are comparing Apples, and Oranges BIG TIME! The CMMG you can only run down to 14.5" barrel. Yes we may be a dealer for Adams Arms, but that is because we test everything and if it does not function or meet our standards we do not sell it. We have a combined 150,000 rds though 5 different weapons with one itself having almost 33k on it with no issues. These all range from 20" barrels down to 7.5" and all have been run on full auto, and suppressed full auto. I melted and warped my CMMG after only 363 rounds of CQB action on my LMT 14.5 and was not happy! You get what you pay for! I hope this helps, and I am not saying CMMG is not a good company, they are with a great group of guys, but if you want to run it hard you get an Adams Arms kit!

All of our gas blocks (pin on or clamp on) are 1 piece steel and can be used on any barrel length (CAR or Mid). Thanks,
Jeff Edidted to add. The above is comparing our aluminum version to our steel block versions. We replaced the aluminum around January of this year. Our kits work with pistol, car and mid length firearms. The rifle will be introduced soon. Here are some shots of our carrier(both left and right hand).

Buy both systems, try them out and make your own decision. You could always sell the one you don't like.

holy cow....
I havn't logged in here forever, mainly b.c I get tired of folks armchair commander folks who think they know everything... but those comments above made by CMMG and Adams Arms company really showed true professionalism.....that was awesome you guys definate +1....you guys are the reason why the gun industry is so awesome....not those arm chair elitist. I like both companies, keep up the good work |

I got nothing to offer between the two companies but why would the guys at CMMG have ever thought that a aluminum gas block would do anything but have problems???
