Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone have sidecharger? (or: reducing gas blowback)

I bought a 9mm VM Htech sidecharger from Spike's. Incredibly fun to shoot, but the only thing I don't like is the gas blowback from the rear of the gun. Instead of a charging handle there's a swiveling piece that holds the bolt in. There's a decent size gap between the upper and the spacer. I'd like to find some sort of material to fill the space when it's closed. Any ideas?
