Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Magpul L-plates on 20rd mags?

Hello everyone,
 I've got some 20rd mags from Brownells, and I was wondering if the Magpul L-Plates will fit on them. Everything I've found says they're for the 30rd mags, but I can't find anything speaking to their use on 20rd magazines.
Here's a pic of the L-plates I'm talking about:

I have seen pictures of them on 20 round USGI magazines.

They will fit Brownell's 20 rd. mags but will reduce the capacity by 1 or 2 rounds.

Here is something I threw together check it out.  Works for me.  This has ranger plate but it works the same as L plate.  It does reduce round capacity buy 1 or 2  I load 18.
