I have an old motorcycle that I could trade for this AR15.  What do you guys think this deal is worth?
The sniper thing cracks me up.

"a custom sniper AR15 .223/5.56 with Rock River arms upper/heavy varmint barrel 1:12 twist and upgraded free float tube, DPMS lower with worked over DPMS trigger, custom molded grip, 5 position collapsible stock with cheek rest, Harris bipod, Muley monopod, custom sling, Swat scope with sunshade and flip ups, 400 rounds of ammo, 6 magazines........"

That's what I was thinking.  I'd avoid a "Sniper" rifle that limited you to the lighter bullet weights.

Let me throw this out - which would be easier for you to sell and then build what you "really" want?

Sell the motorcycle and buy your own AR.  IMO

This.  A 1/12 twist makes the rifle pretty much useless.

The following also applies to BRD:

that "custom molded grip" looks like a standard a2 grip to me

No way I'd do that...
I did some pricing yesterday.... You can do a build for $1200 and have a Noveske upper, BCM BCG, CH and stock kit, any standard lower, and CMMG LPK.
So... For $100 more.... You get this^.... instead of that.
Oh, and that thing is very ugly. 1/12 sucks, too.
That thing likely has a DPMS LPK.... Bad.

If the lower and LPK is made by DPMS... What do you want to bet the RE is, too. That means commercial.

a costom sniper rifle with a 1/12 twist rate.......uhhhh no.......pass

sell the bike and buy a AR that you want......maybe something with a 1/7 twist so you can use more types of ammo

with the 1/12 your going to be VERY limited on what you can use
