I started a post several weeks ago looking for help on getting an Eagle Globe and Anchor engraved on an AR15 magwell. I was striking out until someone suggested using Ident Marking Services. I sent them an email explaining what I was looking for and they got on it right away. We sent several drafts back and forth until we got the image exactly they way I want it. For any of you who are looking for a great place to have truly custom engraving done that comes out exactly the way you want it then I suggest you send Gordon or Jason an email at Ident Marking Services. Below is a link to the image of my reciever which I had the EGA engraved on. I also recommend checking out the rest of their sample work. This is the only engraving I've had done by them but from the looks of their sample work they can do just about anything. These guys are awesome! Let me know what you think of the engraving.

Very nice! That is some amazing detail for an engraving.
Maybe I'll see what they can do for Hap Arnold Wings, you never see those on an AR (and don't bother telling me why either ). How much did it cost you? |

How much did it cost you? 120$, which may seem a little spendy at first, but for something that you cant undo and want to look great I found it to be an extremely fair price. Especially after I saw how well it came out. |

That is fucking awesome!
I'm not a Marine (ex-11B), but Semper Fi. |

Wow, great work. I agree with Kteaton, I'd get Hap Arnold wings engraved on mine too!

Did you have to ship through an FFL or just go direct? All I did was get the mailing address from Gordon in an email, went down to the post office with my nearly stripped lower (still had my buffer tube, trigger guard and trigger assembly on my lower), and told the post man I needed a box that would fit this so I could mail it to their shop. It got there 2 days later but it wasnt engraved for another week just because we were still emailing eachother back and forth on changes to the image draft. No FFL required. |

Jason and Gordon Ident Marking Haha whoops, sorry about that guys. I guess I meant there was no extra hassle or paperwork as far as sending the lower through the mail. I should have explained my answer a little better. Anyways it was almost too easy, extremely professional, and as for the quality i'll just let the picture do the talking for me. |

Good to go! Absolutely awesome detail. Gonna have to get mine done with 0351 beneath the EGA. Semper Fidelis !

Alot of people get a laser "engraving" on the magwell, but it just doesn't reach that level of detail.
That is awesome. I'm off to google thier website to look at other samples. |
|
Just saw on thier site that they do mechanical and laser engraving. It appears yours is a mechanical engraving, am I correct in assuming that?
|
|
Very nice work, I might have to get something done by them as well.

Semper Fi Marine, that truely looks GREAT! Well worth the money paid!

I didn't go "chairborne" until they decided that Senior NCOs should be "managers" instead of "leaders," let alone "technicians." Hated it. That maintenance badge was one of my more treasured "awards," which is why I'd have that engraved on an AR. (Aint' NO sittin' on a flightline! ) |

Which means you could engrave "maker" information on an SBR'd lower too, right?

Oorah. I guess that's what I'll do along with SBR engravings.

Ident Marking does great work. I use them exclusively for all of the Hughes Precision Lowers and everyone has been extremely happy with the results.

Jason and Gordon are pretty humble and won't really brag on how good their work is, so I will say this...the sample pics on their website don't really do their work justice. With the different capabilities that they have, they can do pretty much anything, and amazingly well, too. I was very impressed at how well the EGA turned out. It really is awesome.
