I was looking on the Larue site and wanted to get a bi-pod combo (mount and bi-pod). I cant figure out which one I need/want. I just got done putting my SPR  together and all I need now is a bi-pod and some glass. What are you guys using? Thanks for the help.

im using the $150 one... i recommend the notched legs, 6-9" with the QD mount

i don't really think the swiveling is necessary.

I use the  Harris HBRM-S (swivel) with the notched 6-9" legs. Attached the pod lock too it, works great

What are they notched for? Whats the difference? Is the 6-9 the one I want? Is the next size one too tall? Pleease forgive my ignorance.

The notches allow you to set different heights easier with the lower legs that are variable. That's why it's 6 to 9 inches. The next size is the 9-13". I have one on  of those on my sdm-r.  just a bit too high, personal opinion, though it works well too.

Why did you not move the KAC front sight to the forward most slot on the rail?
