First off this is my first post but I've been browsing here for a few months now and finally got around to registering.  This place a massive vault of EBR info .  Anyway...

My local gun shop has had about 2 dozen RRA complete lowers for a while now and I decide to get one of them and order w/e upper I later decided on.  The Stag 2HT caught my eye as a very nice looking one.

I was looking for some input about the company from you guys.  I've seen some builds with them here and everything I've found online about them was great.  But seeing as you are the experts here I figured I'd ask and see if there was anything else you'd recommend that is similar or something else worth looking at instead.

I would go with LMT, BCM, or CMMG.  They are have m4 set ups with 1/7 barrels and 5.56 chambers.

Who is your local Dealer? What are the asking for the RRA Lowers?

Good deals to be had a bravo company, del-ton, and pkfirearms. Shop around.
Also, ask yourself, "What am I going to be doing with this rifle?" and find the upper that is tailored to suit your needs best.

LMT or BCM

Ok So say I went with a CMMG upper and wanted all the options the Stag 2HT has.  What am I looking at then in terms of all those damn options they have?

My local shop is Atwell's.  You can only get one if you actually go to the store and buy them.  I called and asked they are down to 9 atm.

Would it be worth the $130?

Might as well go for the full-auto carrier too, while you're at it...especially since CMMG doesn't charge extra for it.

I saw that and didn't know wth it meant.  Whats that do for me?

But other than that full auto carrier option- IS THAT A GOOD WAY TO GO?

The FA bolt is slight heavier and slows the action a tad. Yes it's good//

why would it be beneficial to have a slower action?
