Ive read on here that you will not be able to get an exact match unless you are lucky or buy a complete rifle.. something about too many variables in the finishing process....

Buying a factory complete rifle doesn't ensure that you're getting a match either.

Yeah, it's not like the finish them together. They take any ol' lower, and stick any ol' upper on it. They're not "matched". Take your combo, and Duracote the whole thing. Black, if you don't like a pattern. |

I have a BCM 16" carbine upper on a CMMG lower, It's not perfect but real close. I think It looks good.
