so ............. window PMAGS in dark earth (both 20 and 30 rndrs) and 5.56 cartridges.

Ok now ...

what else for the FDE Bushmaster ACR with quick change 16" bbl with folding/extending stock?

Which is the best:

1. backup irons?
2. optic? (red dot of some type?) for the 16" bbl.  which mount?
3. vertical foregrip? with light mount? or mount a G2 with a tape switch?
4. SPR-ish barrel? which optic for that, say, 500yds (SBR would be in the future).
5. suppressor? with QD mount, hence the removable flash hider*

* was there a FH with integral suppressor QD out there?  I'll probably just stick with that system.

A couple spare AR-15 parts.

I don't know how the whole barrel changing process will work.  If you send a barrel into Bushmaster or Magpul, or if one or the other sells a mounting kit.  I would love to have a suppressed .300 Whisper with a short barrel.

supposedly you just buy another barrel assembly.

so I would start with a 16" bbl then get an 18" bbl in the future for SPRish duties.

I'll find the youtube video

If things remain true to form there is an adjuster within the stock for gas pressure (though I believe it is primarily to adjust for suppressor usage).

Why bother?  By the time the ACR comes out, there'll be a whole new generation of accessories you'll need.

Honestly, I see no reason to stock up on anything that you wouldn't normally stock for your ARs.  What's your favorite CQB, midrange, and long range optic?  One of each, maybe, to correspond with barrel lengths?

Otherwise, your preferred VFG and light setup and that should be that.  BUIS, I guess you'd probably want to wait for the MagPul MBUIS.

I don't really know what my favorites are.  I've been messing with handguns for some time.  This would be my first 'AR' lol.

In that case:

KAC VFG with Surefire M951XM07 and a TA01NSN with a JPoint or TRD in a winged mount on top.

Of the items on your list ,the suppressor will take the most time.

If it is in stock , you will need from 4-8 weeks for a typical form4.

Get that process started, and while you wait, buy mags, porn and ammo.

Which system is the one with the QD mount?  Gemtech?

Two choices - one is save up money, and parts you're going to use regardess, and use existing stuff.  Items like supressors, optics would do.

Magazines, Ammunition are ALWAYS a good idea if they fit your budget, so if you're stumped, start there.  FDE MagLevel PMags with Ranger Plates are simply the best magazines being made right now - I have black ones, and they're just plain awesome.

Basically, get a lot of the stuff you can use until then, you'll be happy sooner, and also have an already proven kit with equipment that works and has been tested.

Other option would be to get an AR-15 in the color ACR you want, and then kit it to the max, knowing that you'll replace the base unit anyway.
MIAD with GripCore,
Optic w/ Mount
FUG (or TD/KAC VFG if applicable)
TROY Rear BUIS (until the MBUS rear's are out)

I'd honestly wait on the barrel - those will likely be the hardest to source (piston conversion components for existing barels)

If you're can shopping - pick a supressor with dedicated FH (Gemtech, AAC, KAC) if you want, but tax stamping something you don't own yet is a bit of sunk cost early.
