Recommendations for spare parts for an Ar-15?  Best place to get them?  I personally have a bushmaster which has what appears to me to be a pretty extensive spare parts deal (springs, etc...) on their web site.  Does it make sense and is it worth it?   I couldn't tag it but here is a paste..

Complete AR15 Spare Parts Kit w/ Rifle Buffer
We've taken our Field Repair Kit, our Complete Spring Package, and our Complete Pin & Detent Package and combined them into one "super-kit" that will take care of all your AR15 rifle's spare parts needs. You'll get all these parts and more: every Spring in the Gun (including Buffer Spring); Firing Pin; 3 Firing Pin Retaining Pins; Cam Pin; Disconnector; Extractor; Extractor Pivot Pin; 2 Extractor Spring Inserts; Gas Ring Set; 2 Hammer & Trigger Pins; 2 Front Sight Taper Pins; 2 Takedown Pin Detents; Safety Detent; Bolt Catch Plunger; Gas Tube Roll Pin; Front Sight Detent; Ejector Pin; Forward Assist Pin; Bolt Catch Pin; Buffer Detent; Trigger Guard Pin. This is a great value for only $39.50!

I bought a spare rifle.

But seriously, parts I keep on hand include spare bolt and bolt components, springs, buffer detents, and charging handles. Not too extensive, IMO.

That is a great starter spare parts kit, I have one. You can add a complete spare bolt and other odds and ends as you go along.

The spare parts kit mentioned is great. Anything on the rifle can break so go from there. These parts are virtually available from many of the site sponsors or vendors listed in the Industry section.

Thank you guys.  I think some spare parts are in my future (and maybe one day a spare rifle).  One additional question if I may... bolt replacement parts... best to get that from the rifle vendor or somewhere else?  My perception is the parts should be 'interchangeable' so I suspect 'any' bolt will work in my Bushmaster?

Be careful!  I once bought a spare firing pin and ended up building a rifle around it.  I did the same thing with a gas tube roll pin.
