Identify this barrel please "CLE 1-7 06-07"

I traded for this barrel today.

It's 10.5". It has "CLE 1-7 06-07" stamped lengthwise on the bbl. It has a "3" on one side of the bbl in front of the alignment pin & a "44" on the other side in front of it. It also has precut dimples for one of the non-pinned gas blocks. It also has M4 feed ramps.

Compass Lake Engineering 1:7 twist rate made in June of '07.

How good are Compass Lake Engineering barrels? I have been told this is chrome lined. The guy who bought it said he paid extra & waited to get it that way. (I didn't know who he bought it from.) This barrel has a really nice finish & virtually no toolmarks. It looks really nice, and I think it's had about 10 or 15 rounds down it.

Compass Lake is topnotch, they machine Krieger barrels for the USMC SAM-R

That barrel is bad ass, Top on the line. I just used one on my 18" SPR.

I think I'm going to put it on a SBR. I've wanted a 1-7 for a while. I just lucked into this today. I traded a used 16" bbl for this.

I didn't steal it. I lucked into it. One of my coworkers at the range traded an UZI to a friend who needed money & could sell the UZI. He wanted to sell some AR parts but what he had to sell was a rifle lower & SBR upper. I traded him a 16" bbl & installed it. It was a decent deal for both of us.

That looks exactly like a shorter version on mine. Mine cost me $485 for barrel and matched bolt.
