I was at my local gun show in Melbourne, FL this past weekend and there was an outfit there calling themselves Anvil Arms or Anvil something. I didn't get a chance to talk to any of them because they were busy with other people and I didn't want to wait for an opening. They had a lot of fully assembled rifles and lots of parts and accessories for AR's.

I think they are located in FL somewhere. Anyone heard of them? Any info on their product?

Anvil Arms is a great company.  Jon the owner is a nice guy.  Heck, he put up with my stupid questions.

They are also an Industry Partner of this forum.

I recently purchased two lower receivers from Anvil Arms.  A top-notch product at a great price and great customer service.

I'll be buying more from them.

Good shooting,

Great Company and an excellent reputation.  I like their products. I bought an upper assembly a couple of months ago.  I still haven't done anything with it though, but I almost can't wait

their next show is in Tampa in august, I think the Suncoast show

Anvil Arms are very good folks and good products.  I have a stripped upper and lower from them just waiting for me to get off my butt and turn it into something.  I just don't know what that something is going to be...

I have ordered two receivers from them, soon to order a third, and both were flawless.

Here's a pic of the most recent one...

I picked up 3 lowers a few months ago. I just finished building one into a 14.5(perm phantom)m4gery. The fit and finish is superb. Jon was a great guy to deal with, talked for about an hour at his shop and he let me fondle a couple m16's. Ive compared the lowers side by side to: eagle arms, RRA, dpms, etc. His are by far the best overall finish, perfect coating, no manufacturing marks, all perfectly identical, and assembled very easily. (sequential serial numbers too, an added bonus) He is only dealing with top-notch machine shops, as the final product will attest. Highly recommended.

I built this AR from one of their lowers.  As you can see I had it custom engraved.

If you choose to have them engrave your lower, be very careful in your communications with them.  When I ordered, they engraved my lower with the wrong image.  They admitted it was their fault, and while they did replace the receiver with one engraved correctly, they refused to give me anything toward return shipping or the second round of FFL fees.  It's a great product, but I still don't think I should have been made to pay out of pocket to allow them the chance to correct their mistake.

my only complaint is wait time, if it's not instock you can expect a wait. with that in mind, it will be worth the time.

This is true and a lot of folks are always asking for status.  Small staff and very busy, don't expect a reply right away.

Excellent product!!

+1 for Anvil Arms!! I had Jon build my lower for my Kotonics/Cardinal 6.8 Upper. Top notch and the engraving cost is free if you buy a rifle or lower through him. He engraved my BM lower to match the Anvil lower for $15.00!! at the Gun show you were at for my next Kotonics/Cardinal 6.8 upper. A "Stand Up Guy", family man, lifetime warrenty, you can't go wrong with an Anvil.
