Why is it that most of the "major" manufacturers do not offer their factory complete 20" rifles with the option of a lighter government profile barrel? When I say major I'm speaking about Rock River, Armalite etc. I know CMMG and some others offer this.
Why is it that the majors all think everyone wants an HBAR?

All barrels start off as bull.  Turning to the M203 profile takes machine time and trouble.
