Is it possible for the charging handle to hit you on your nose/face when the rifle cycles if the clip/spring on the charging handle brakes.

If there is drag between the charging handle and the gas key maybe.But if it hurt I wouldn't tell anyone.

That's the point of the "nose to the charging handle" thing.

Without the catch it can come back to your nose for a visit... don't think you could call it a hit.

I have heard tell of folks that for what ever reason pull the CH back when the bolt is in the open catch position, and upon releasing the bolt it can if you have a cheek weld, grab some skin, to say the least.

oh and BTW no one else will post now that I have responded...I am the offical thread killer here
