So I have a Colt LE6920 bought it new and have put maybe 500-750 rounds through her and their is a couple spots around the notch in the upper (cam pin recess i think is what they said its calledhere

It's normal for black anodizing to wear off in areas where parts cycle,as long as metal shavings arent present,or grooving present........i have 6 colts,all show metal where they cycle.....but have never had any issues.....The M16 i carried in Army had no black anodizing inside upper receiver......was all worn out,but worked flawless !
