Bought this on 3-29, sold the 16" upper right off the bat, ordered a new Colt 14.5" from Clyde

Armory, Steve at Adco permanently attached the SDI extended A2 flash suppressor. Added

Knights M4 RAS and VFG, Matech BUIS, Surefire M951 and Eotech 552 and here she is:

I like your thinking, basic military set up. Seems like you went through alot of hassle and expense to knock off 1.3 inch or so off the barrel. I can't bring myself to do that. But if your reason is "Thats what I want," then thats a good enough reason for me!

So does Clyde Armory sell complete (Colt 6921) 14.5" uppers?

They do, for $995. I got 825 for selling the 16" upper so the net cost wasn't that much more.

F'ing Nice !!

I would have done the same thing, pulled the 16", kept it
for whatever and put in a 14.5". Very nice indeed!

I could careless about Colt lowers since Im not a collector

Now what model can you call this carbine 20 or 21
