I REALLY doubt it is.  You should probably edit it out.  And tell me where you got it from.

Yeah, I thought it might be pushing it, but I figured the mods might be a little less liberal-PC and let it go since it is a piece of embroidery.  Anyway, I took it out.  If anyone is interested in seeing what it was and buying one, go here.

Thanks!

I figured the BCG came with the upper, so it was part of the "assembly."  It is a sweet carrier.  My wife took the pix for me.  I'll see if I can get her to take a few of the carrier.

Very good! Excellent photos FTW!

My questions!

1. So, what exactly do you do for a living again? Anything to do with the Marines?

2. Is the light on your 1911 mounted Dawson rail style, or integral Kimber style?

3. What is that belt/holster/pouch setup? Looks pretty comfy and to the point.

4. Land CIRAS carrier?

Thanks.  My wife is a photographer.

1. I am currently a Product Designer.  I was in the IDF years ago (see the gear that looks a little more used)  But, my BIL is in the USMC.

2. The 1911 is a Kimber Warrior with Surefire X200B.

3. The Belt is a Blackwater IO padded MOLLE belt.  It is, by far, the most comfortable 1st-line setup I've used.  I run an Original SOE Patrol Subload on an EMDOM MOLLE hanger.  Above that is a Maxpedition sheath with my trusty Leatherman WAVE (to which I attached a self-made lanyard for easier extraction from the sheath with gloves).  A Maxpedition MM Rolly Polly is behind that.  On the other side is a Tactical Tailor Horizontal EE pouch.  Under that is a Gemtech lanyard.  The Safariland 6005 on EMDOM MOLLE hanger is next.  Finally, a Strider Knives DB-L NSN in standard Kydex sheath rounds it all out.  ETA: HSGI suspenders too.

4. yes

Ah, so Safariland DOES make a holster for integral railed .45s... good to know!

I was wondering about that ol' IDF gear.

Nice guns, nice gear. A solid 10!

ETA - You wouldn't happen to know my ol' buddy Leonidas from Thermopylae, would you?

The load bearing gear is an Israeli Ephod.  There is a Marine Spec-Plus KBar tucked behind one of the mag pouches and a standard issue L-shaped flashlight.

Also shown is an Eagle Land MAR-CIRAS rig and Blackwater I-O MOLLE belt.  The pack is an ATS (formerly Lightfighter) RAID pack.

Misc. Eagle, Tactical Tailer, Blackhawk, HSGI, and EMDOM pouches are attached.

Great looking setup.  What kind of accuracy are you getting?  My SRT SBR only shoots 2-2.5" at 50 yards with M855.  Slightly better with MK262.

Now you need a suppressor..

I've been getting a lot of IM's about the gear in the pics.  So, even though this is a Tech forum and not the gear forum, I figure I'll throw this in.

Eagle MAR CIRAS

Point Blank BALCS-cut IIIA soft armor inserts
Point Blank TAP GAMMA III+ IC SAPI Plates

Front (from the top L-R)

Eagle Admin Pouch
Eagle FB .45 double Mag Pouch
Tactical Tailor Frag Grenade Pouch (x2)
Blackhawk! Single M4 Mag Pouch
EMDOM Small Utili Shingle (under cumberbund)
Cold Steel Safe Keeper II Push Dagger in Kydex Sheath (zip-tied to Shingle)
Eagle Double M4 Mag Pouch
EMDOM 4x4 SUV Pouch

Back (L-R)

Eagle MBITR Pouch
Eagle Hydration Assault Pack w/ Camelbak Bladder
Paraclete Single Flashbang Pouch
ATS Small IFAK Med Pouch

The Load is very well distributed and comfortable to move in (well, as comfortable as armor can be.  Those who have worked in armor know that it is the suck over long periods of time).  But, the internal cumberbund really helps to distribute the weight over the hips instead of all on the shoulders and neck.

I really like the pouch layout.  I've played around with it a lot and finally found something that works for me.  It is a compromise between weight and manueverability.  The only thing I would like to change is to swap out the Blackhawk single M4 pouch for an Eagle one.  I don't like Blackhawk because they are made in Vietnam and are of poorer quality when compared to Eagle which is made in my home town of St. Louis, MO.

Blackwater I-O Padded MOLLE Belt

(L-R)
Tactical Tailor Single Sheath with Leatherman Wave
Original SOE Patrol Sub Load on EMDOM MOLLE Hanger
Maxpedition MM Rollypolly
Tactical Tailor Horizontal EE Pouch
Gemtech Pistol Lanyard
Safariland 6005 on upside down EMDOM MOLLE Hanger
Strider Knives DB-L w/ standard Kydex Sheath mounted on 6004
HSGI Suspenders

This belt setup is the most comfortable one I've tried.  It's geometry is based on the Crye Battle Belt and is very comfortable, but not too bulky.  I've tried ICE Tactical and Eagle MOLLE belts, and this one trumps them both IMO.  My suspenders have been modded by removing the plastic triangle where they cross in the back and having them sewed in place with a double box stitch.  This keeps them from sliding around and widening while moving.  I made a 550 cord lanyard for the Leatherman because the TT sheath is too deep and it tends to slide al the way in.  The Lanyard sticks out of the sheath a bit and is an easy grab point when wearing gloves.  I have also made a lanyard for the DB-L.  It is mounted lower on the holster so that when sitting or moving, the handle doesn't poke me in the groin.  Since it is mounted lower, the handle becomes a bit more difficult to reach because of the leg shroud of the holster.  The lanyard is an easy grab point that puts the blade directly into my hand.

The 6004 is mounted higher up by turning the EMDOM MOLLE hanger upside down and letting the SR buckle hang over the belt.  I then zip-tied the buckle down to the PALS loops on the outside face of the hanger to secure the whole thing.
