Following FivePointOh's  kickass directions, I started to krylon cammy my 20" up. I was going for a bit of a hybrid between the snakeskin patterns you see alot and the multicam pattern he demonstrated in his thread.

Tell me what you think

It's not as bright in person as it appears in the picture, due to flash. I think it needs more brown, but then again, I couldn't find any acceptable "medium brown" (re: coyote) so I skipped that color for the time being.

Whaddaya say?

Needs more cowbell.... I mean Coyote Tan.

I thought about painting my AR but i like my Evil Black Rifle Evil and Black. So its still Black except the Coyote Tan Rail covers and my Coyote CTR stock.

took one real fast, no true vegetation in the yard, didn't feel like taking a walk to the park . maybe this afternoon so I can toss it in the deadfall and such.

yeah, I need some coyote, stat.

ets: for the patterns, I took a mesh bag and layed it over the rifle, then took some card stock and just cut out random shapes and hit it from afar with the spray.

Too much green.  Other than that, I like it.

Looks good. I prefer more earth tone colors and and I try and get the colors to "match" each other.

It's addicting, the more you refinish the more you want to.

Hey wow...thanks for compliment on the How To.

Honestly I would try toning down the green w/ some khaki.  That green does stand out a bit.  But maybe if you take some shots in a more versatile environment it won't look so highlighted.  Either way I like the pattern!

The real test is laying it on the ground and returning later to find it!

It would appear to have a good 3 D effect, and maybe just a little bit darker next time.

I like it though.

I would add some more brown colors...cover up some of the tan...but thats just me if you like it then thats all that matters. (and of course how it functions).

I like it.

Would be very useful in certain locations and stand out in others, you did a good job though.

Looks good,I would have used an OD green but with yours id add another shade of tan or brown and some black. You might wanna go with colors that match your area to be most effective.

Plus one to the OD but not to the black

If you're ever going to use NV...or if you're ever going to be hunted by NV...well I would recommend not doing black.
