Thanks guys! It’s a build I wanted to do for a long time ever since the recoil article came out but never got around to doing it.

I shouldn't have looked at this thread. Now I'm thinking about doing a modern day Johnny inspired build...in 6.5 Grendel. Now I need to find a Gen 3 set.

Can a normal upper be used on a Ghetto Blaster? I have one coming in later this week and was wondering what other uppers could possibly be used - or if there are any machine shops that can mill the relief cuts for the brace

Amazon was selling the last of the keymod QD sling mounts about a month ago. I couldn't find them anywhere and was hesitant to try amazon, but went for it anyway. The part came in original Noveske packaging!
 I'll try to take better pics someday. Need a 5 slot keymod pic rail that indexes correctly and a coyote sling, but other than that it's a clone; salty old short dot and everything.   I picked up the magazine 8 years ago this month. Love how John had a "ear pro?" attitude. |

Another year, another trip out to the woods for this Gen1/2 12.5” build.
Still absolutely love this one and am enjoying it even more since swapping it from its original 12.5” midlength 5.56 configuration to a 12.5” Noveske 300blk barrel. Barnes 110gr did the thing!

Noveske lower, upper, barrel, BCG, small parts, takedown pins, endplate. Geissele trigger, buffer tube, buffer, spring. Radian CH. Hodge S-Lock. T2 on Scalarworks. Warcomp, 7.62 mini. KAC irons. Rail Scales Karve.

While I'm waiting on my N6 receiver set and barrel/bolt (all are backordered) I'm trying to figure out what the best option for the bolt carrier is
The bolt system is the JP High Pressure bolt, I've successfully paired the JP bolt system with a KAC SR-25 carrier in a KAC upper...but i have no experience with the N6 Will any standard profile AR-10 carrier work in the N6? |

I’ve been waiting on a 12.5 to finish a build but they’re like 24 week back order from Noveske. It’s gotten to the point where I’m considering paying normal price instead of getting my mil discount through Noveske. I’ve even considered getting a Triarc 12.5 but everything on this build is Noveske, it would be feel sac religious to use a non Noveske barrel though.

I mentioned above on Nov 8 that I ordered a 15” M-Lok NSR handguard from the dreaded Optics Planet in September because I had points and a coupon that brought the price down to $212.95. At the time, it was estimated to ship in January. Now the estimated ship date is June 10, 2021. I’m not sure if that’s based on any real info they’re getting from Noveske, who I’m guessing is using all of their parts to build complete rifles right now. Seems like none of their major components have been in stock for months. |

Been a busy month. Broke my B5 Sopmod stock and had to replace it with a CTR for the time being
And added a Modbutton to clean up the light mount instead of using the stock surefire pressure switch sandwiched between the top and side rail. I'll probably end up putting that Unity Tactical wing mount on it to bring the light up past the BUIS, but for now shes functional, and I love the new switch.

Noveske Chainsaw Gen 2 lower with a KAC Mod 2 CQB upper is the current favorite 5.56 gun. Still planning on getting a T1/2 eventually, but the Holosun isn’t giving enough reason for replacement yet.
