Hey all.  Anyone have any experience with this carry handle:

www.rockriverarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=AR0052CNMASYXX&storeid=1ℑ=nmcrry.gif&CFID=34491719&CFTOKEN=50340951

at 600y?  I know some A3/A4 style carry handles can be a problem at 600 due to the shorter space to raise the rear aperture.  But this one claims "A true 0 to 600 yard capable carry handle! Patent pending."

Thoughts/experience?

The link wouldn't work for me, some kind of server error.

Off the cuff I'd just buy a NM carry handle with 1/2" adjustments and call it good.

If you're going to shoot out to 600 yards then you will be well experienced with your sights by the time you can hit what you are aiming at.

Shooting that far isn't as simple as dialing to the specific rnage number and then drilling bullseyes.  Humidity, temp, wind, elevation, ammo velocity, and bullet weight all play into what sight setting you'll use.

standard National Match, NRA/CMP high power and service rifle has a stage at 200 yds, 300yds and 600yds. Everyone knows their come-ups (11 minutes up from 300 to 600 will always put you on target).

humidity, temp, light, air-density at altitude, how tired your eyes are all play a very minor effect that is worth a click or two from day to day.

WIND is important and its part of what you learn when you're shooting.

you will be shooting a 75, 77 or 80 from Sierra or Hornady and you'll end up with a different zero for each but close enough to be on paper (the paper is 6' square)

shoot good

To answer your question, yes, you will be good to 600 yds with the heavy bullets and that handle. You will be more accurate with the .030 aperture assuming you can see well through it. Older eyes and most will need the .040
