The swap isn't hard if you have the tools (6" vise, barrel or action blocks, barrel wrench, 1/16" pin punch, and occastionally vice grips to remove stubborn gas tubes).
IIRC if you buy the upper from Bushmaster they will do the swap for free. If your upper hasn't been fired, you might be able to get them to exchange your unused A2 for a unused flattop for a very reasonable fee. |

Don't listen to any of them. Buy you the upper you want AND THEN you will have a extra upper that will need a new lower , etc, etc and then you will have the DZZZZZZZZZZZ.
