I have had similar problems. Try torqueing down several times. On and off. Use a little lubracant. Gun grease. On threads. Are you useing a torque wrench. And to what have you it set to? I had a problem with a DD barrel ring On a RRA upper. Finaly made a shim out of copper wire to get the gas hole to alian up. But try torqueing down then off. See if that helps.

Barrel nut indexing shims
$10 shipped for a 3 pack. Otherwise add grease and torque it a whole bunch of times until you wear the threads enough to get the nut into alignment. |
